It is my pleasure to share this point of land with those who have a great appreciation for nature and breath taking beauty near Bar Harbor Maine and Acadia National Park. Past guests have described this cottage and the Cove as "Gods Country", and the sense of serenity they felt was a welcome retreat from their everyday hectic lives. Berry Cove, near Bar Harbor is gorgeous in any season. The sights and sounds delight and refresh ones very soul. Listen to the BABBLING BROOK just feet from your front door, as it twists and winds its way to the Maine ocean. Take a few steps off the front porch and cross that brook onto a sandy secluded beach. Watch the tides come and go, as you stroll the miles of Maine shorefront. As we Mainers like to say, " THE WAY LIFE SHOULD BE". Then again if you are looking for excitement, there is plenty to do in and around this area.

 

We are located just East of Ellsworth and less them 30 minutes from Acadia National Park, as well as Schoodic in the Down East Region. After a hard day golfing (Visit the famous Kebo Valley Golf Course in Bar Harbor one of the five oldest courses in America), rock climbing or shopping come back to the Cove and enjoy your cottage that is decorated in pure Maine Country Charm (feels like going home to Grandmas). You can pick up dinner on the way at many of the local take-outs restaurants or prepare your own five-course dinner in the full kitchen at the cottage. On THE FORTH OF JULY, WATCH THE FIREWORK DISPLAY ON THE SECLUDED FRONT BEACH!!! THIS WEEK WILL GO FAST, SO CALL EARLY. We do welcome trained pets. However, there is a $5.00 per day surcharge for pets, to be paid at time of arrival. We ask you please have your pets immunized, licensed and bathed. There is a maximum of four people for this lovely two-bedroom cottage.
