Mt. Chase Lodge has long been an established recreational landmark catering to sportsmen and other outdoor recreationalists in the Shin Pond/Patten area of North Central Maine.
Being situated well off the road on the shores of Upper Shin Pond, our guests can enjoy the peaceful seclusion of our wooded, waterfront setting.
The Main Lodge
Our main lodge offers large private rooms with comfortable beds, and an impressive lounging and dining area overlooking the water. Our guests have enjoyed many hours of relaxation in front of our large stone fireplace, a great way to unwind from life's many daily pressures.
Cabins
There are also five cabins sleeping 2-8 people. All are equipped with full baths, automatic heat as well as wood stoves in some, and equipment for cooking, as some guests prefer. These are a great favorite for summer family vacationers and couples. Cabin guests can also have their meals served in the lodge if they wish.
Meals
Home cooked family style meals are our specialty along with great northern hospitality. Homemade breads, pies, muffins, and other treats are served in the finest tradition, and never cease to lure the hearty appetite. Nobody goes away from our tables hungry.
