@ Moose Island:
Located of the city of Eastport. Connected to the mainland
by a bridge. Ferry service is available to Canadian
Islands and to the Canadian mainland.
@ Deer Island:
The largest tidal whirlpool in the Western Hemisphere,
the Old Sow, lies in view of the car ferry route
to Deer Island.
@ Campobello Island:
Location of the Franklin Delano Roosevelt summer home,
the area is now park of a huge 2600-acre park with more
than eight miles of hiking trails. You can reach Campobellow
Island from Lubec, crossing the Roosevelt International
Bridge.
@ Great Wass Island:
Located off the coast of Jonesport. Nature Preserve.
@ Machias Seal Island:
Accessible by local charter boats, the island is popular
for viewing Atlantic Puffin. Nature preserve.
@ Mount Desert Island:
Home to much of Acadia National Park, this island is
